I am actually dealing with social issues, injustices and denouncing and I have been doing prints and drawings in the past couple of years and now I’m going back into printmaking which I left for three years, mostly etchings and lithographs and then I will be doing large scale paintings.
Now I am doing a new series of paintings and drawings and I have a house in Oaxaca which is an international art residency place.
What is relevant in this moment, is that there are a lot of changes happening, there are a lot of problems going on, in the economy and socially that need to be faced, need to be discussed, and I feel like I am there to witness them. Mexico seems to be in a real straight social position and I want to be there to see what happens, talk about stuff, talk about issues.
